Flavor Descriptions

This is blended using Ceylon Black Tea from the “Nuwara Eliya” production region which is “roasted” to become the aged, post-fermented black tea. Different from black teas in general, the aged and post-fermented tea leaves offer an even riper and stronger aroma. The uplifting fragrance gives the freshness of grass and the caramel scent of sweet potato, as well as a faint ripe citrus fruit fragrance. The heavy bitter and astringent taste gives a strong tea flavor, yet the tea itself is refreshing with a sweet and mellow aftertaste.
